Crying

There are two major things which cause me to cry.  When I speak of them a sob rises up in my throat and I find I

cannot stop the tears.

The first is picturing my birth mother sobbing on the shoulders of my adopted father as she handed me over to

his care.

The second is picturing my adopted mother waking up from an anaesthetic to discover that her 2 hour old baby

has died.  She heard something being said by whoever was at her bedside.  The heartbreaker for me was when

she found her voice and cried out “Den!  I want my Den!”
